My Dear Friends and Loyal Patrons (Miei cari amici e fedeli mecenati),
I trust that you all are doing well and continue to be safe during this pandemic. These are certainly unprecedented times that present all of us with extremely challenging decisions to make. It is hard to believe that it’s been 10 weeks since we were last able to serve you!
Since then, I’ve monitored the changing situation and what I felt was best for Carmela’s, our team, and you all – my most valued customers. Given our current guidelines issued by the Governor for re-opening Virginia and those specific to restaurants, I want to share some exciting news with you. Effective this Wednesday, May 27th, Carmela’s at The Loft will begin accepting a limited number of pre-orders for our Curbside Special for Friday and Saturday nights this week. We will have a limited menu and it is attached for your review.
I would ask for your understanding and support with our limited menu and the ordering process for now as we all work together to make our way back to inside dining options and “the way it will need to be”.
Orders will only be accepted by telephone. Call us at 434-237-2522 to place your order. If we are unavailable when you call, leave us a message and we will return your call to confirm your order as soon as possible. Orders will be available for pick up between the hours of 4:00 – 8:00pm. You may come inside to pick up your order or we will be happy to bring it out to you. We will have wine available for purchase that pairs well with your entree selection.
I can’t thank you enough for your continued support and patronage. Together we will make it through this and we will be better than before!! God bless you all!!
