While we understand and support the need for social distancing, we also recognize those of you who are well may wish to venture out. The Carmela’s team welcomes you and offers relaxation and respite while enjoying a delicious meal during this time of uncertainty. It will be our privilege to serve you. If you prefer to take extra precautions and not dine in a public setting, we encourage you to take advantage of our online ordering. We will be more than happy to offer curb side pickup if you so desire. We are monitoring this evolving situation very closely and following recommendations from CDC, FDA, VDH, and local officials to ensure we’re doing all we can to keep our guests, employees and food safe. This includes heightening our existing industry-leading procedures and protocols. Presently, the transmission of COVID-19 has not been linked to food or food packaging by the USDA or the FDA.I am a believer in the good Lord and in mankind.
